About the Journal

The Interdisciplinary Journal of One Health (IJOH) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that recognizes the complex interconnections among human health, animal health, environmental health, and the biological sciences. It provides a multidisciplinary platform for high-quality research across a broad range of health and life-science disciplines, welcoming both discipline-specific and interdisciplinary studies relevant to health, disease, biology, and related fields. The journal particularly encourages research that advances understanding of the relationships among humans, animals, and their shared environment.

IJOH operates as a Continuous Publication Journal with a single annual volume. Articles are published online as soon as they are ready, assigned a unique eLocation ID for precise citation, and made freely available. The journal also welcomes studies reporting negative or non-significant findings when hypotheses are clearly articulated and study designs are scientifically rigorous, recognizing their importance in reducing publication bias, improving research transparency, and preventing unnecessary duplication.
